My Protocol: How I Broke the Rules and Survived Cancer

I have always been a member of the holistic health community. I practiced yoga. I was a trained massage therapist. I tried to eat well. I avoided medicine as much as possible. I considered myself to be pretty healthy, until I wasn't.

In the year 2000, I was diagnosed with a form of colorectal cancer, rectosigmoid cancer, and I was devastated. I felt lost and alone. I knew that traditional treatment was not for me, so I took control of my treatment plan, and I embraced my protocol.
