The Boys from Clyde

Five boyhood friends in Clyde, Ohio grew up to have remarkable lives. They were Sherwood Anderson, writer; Karl Anderson, artist; Clifford Paden, (John Emerson) director; Henry Bardshar, Rough Rider; and Herman Hurd, who remained in Clyde and became the school board President. This is the story of their growing up in Clyde, told with illustrations for young readers.
