Paisley, an Adaya from the bank of the Marama River, finds herself orphaned and alone after a brutal attack on her village. She reluctantly embarks on a quest to Aureen Territory with two unlikely companions. Together, the three friends try to put aside their differences while meeting other forest creatures along the way to Astradoma.

Just when it seems things are going their way, a shocking discovery and a direct confrontation with the Nefarites leaves them reeling. Together, they must fight the odds to reunite fairy-kind and reclaim their heritage of magic and flight.
