The Last One Standing

In the wold of Praedium everyone has been born with a supernatural ability for the last three centuries. Alderan, the son of a farmer with the ability to control water, feels worthless and decides to join The Last One Standing in an effort to prove himself. A brutal and bloody fight to the death where contestants fight with nothing but their abilities.

There is something that separates Alderan from everyone before him and all of those after. Something that makes Alderan special. But will it be enough for him to face Vladicus or will he die in his first fight? Almost more importantly, who are the two mysterious groups that seem to run things from behind the curtains and what exactly is their gain?
