Writer's Block: Chapter One

Imagine a world quite like ours but severely different. A world where phones are replaced with computers, where engines run off steam, and souls always find their mates. In such a world, finding love should be easy, but life never makes it so. With so many trials blocking the path to happiness, it's a wonder how anyone could ever find their way together; but with the right timing and a little bit of luck, the road might just turn out all right, if traveled together.
