His fingers touch around her front, tracing the scars on her chest, holding her to his chest. "I love you Miranda, more than anything in the world" and she closes her eyes, grits her teeth and breathes.

Viscera is a story that focuses on Miranda, a female protagonist who is quiet in the face of her own suffering, the threat of masculinity, the juxtaposition of violence and sexuality
