Wings of Fire

A police detective, accustomed to deftly untangling complex leads, is stymied by a corpse's impossible condition. As clues mysteriously appear in his mind, he enters a village that cannot possibly exist and confronts a boy with deadly powers. Diminutive residents clamor to escape and to that end put his ladylove at risk. Can he learn the secret of the village and confront the source of its evil in time?
