In The Case of the Missing Minds, Sean and Melissa Hunter's newest adventure, the twins are on the trail of a tricky thief. The cash register at the Midvale Comedy Club, where a hypnotist troupe is performing, has been robbed every night of the week. Even when the kids set a stakeout, the burglar still gets away.

That's not all that's strange around town though. Kids begin acting weird one thinks he's a rooster, another a dog and their portly teacher, Mrs. Applewhite, is convinced she's a dainty ballerina.

As the robberies continue and the losses mount, Sean and Melissa use Doc's souped-up thinking machine to help them untangle one of their most complicated cases yet.
