When a chance meeting between two Vietnam veterans, the rape and shooting of a fifteen-year-old Apache girl, and the Spirit Quest of an Apache paramedic all combine to lead the Apache to declare independence and close off their reservation, the U.S. government responds as it always has to Indian problems: send in the cavalry --- the 101st Aircav this time, complete with tanks and helicopters.
