Did you know that Love and War had a baby together? It's true, under one glorious full moon, the beautiful Aphrodite herself and the war-god, Ares put aside their differences and gave into their secret desire for each other. Don't hate them, opposites do attract.

Now, what of that baby? He must be one odd child, no? You may know him as "Cupid" or "Amor". However, in Greece he was called "Eros". And yes, he had quite the complicated story; wine, orgies, adoration, memory loss, hallucinations, a strange scar that won't heal . . .

The child of Love and War. Is that supposed to be funny, Fates? In this first installment of the "Godkin" series, we follow Eros as he learns there was more to this birth of opposites than Cosmic humor. He is unique, a union of contradicting forces, volatile, with a power not yet possessed by any creature on Gaia; he is able to change the hearts of man, for better or worse.

Will he be like his Lovely mother, or will the harsh world carve him in the image of Ares?

The world will never be the same after the meeting under that full moon. Was this the Fates' plan all along?
