Through an intervention of God with His furry creatures, I have had a soul's awakening. I learned how to become a more loving, open person. Ultimately, I became more emotionally equipped to deal with my own bout of breast cancer. Most of the animals I adopted were throw-away animals. In Recycled Hearts I share through poems, fun illustrations, short stories, and color photos how life was never the same as they all became a loving part of not just my life but my family's life. Also, I share safety information, which I have learned as a pet owner. Through these lovable creatures, I profusely know how spiritual growth is the reward reaped when realizing love is always the common denominator.
