The War on Unicorns is a series of intriguing and poetic snapshots exploring human life. Consisting of 40 unique pieces, Dawson explores the corruption of humanity, the ironic yet sentimentality of life, and the foundations and breakdowns of relationship. He focuses on the celebration, the expectation, the transition of time and each passing moment that occupies that space. But within that moment lies the clarity and desperation that Dawson communicates, the essence of trying to live a meaningful life by capturing these moments. Ultimately, he is asking us to take a long, hard look at adult life and what it makes us give up and forget.
