Bayou on Fire

A newly promoted detective,Ginger Walker, works with her boss at Plaquemine Parish Sheriff Office to solve the arson of the local courthouse in 2002. They must investigate whether or not there is any connection between the murder of the judge's law clerk, the torching of the courthouse, and the theft of a criminal file from the sheriff office before the fire. Down river from New Orleans, the law enforcement members of this parish end up researching a civil lawsuit filed in another parish near New Orleans, namely Jefferson Parish.  They uncover corruption that was hidden from the public and which might have prevented the events in their parish.
