Vaan, Roger, and Sky awake on another planet, called Alluria, with no recollection as to how they got there. The three of them meet an Allurian named Kirin who lets them crash at her place for a while. It isn't long before the four of them discover that they each have powers. However when Ensis soldiers attack, the four of them are forced to flee the country in search of a safe haven. Their journey takes them far and wide across Alluria. Along the way they make new acquaintances, encounter ferocious wildlife, and meet fearsome foes. Will any of them remember how they got there or will the truth forever remain a mystery?
