Soul of the Guardian

One moment all was normal, the next ... insanity. Scores of people drop dead, their minds ripped to shreds. All that's left is a twisted corpse with alien eyes, and what survivors remain are given no explanation.

Ryanne has already lost one home, and she'll be damned if she sits back and lets another be taken from her. There's only one way to get some answers: send Kole, paladin and warrior extraordinaire, to the Temple of Dawn to seek advice from the Guardian. Desperate to escape her miserable life, Ryanne follows.

The Guardian tells them the horrible truth: it isn't just madness. It's a parasitic race determined to make humanity their next meal. And these monsters—the Entana—won't relinquish their hold easily. In order to free their people from the Entana's hunger, the Guardian, Ryanne, and Kole will have to pool all their abilities to kill them ... and decide what's worth sacrificing to save the whole of mankind.
