nikki van ekeren has been looking up, listening and writing what she hears, feels and sees. these poems were written in their raw form - created from a safe space. nikki feels as if we are all wandering on this planet trying to find our tribe.

her desire to create a safe space for her soul is found within these words. when she was diagnosed and treated for sarcoma cancer in 2014, she felt that her soul attacked her body for immediate action. nikki faced the longing of her soul to question everything and turn within for the truth. she looked above and paused. pressing pause on her life opened up a door inside...the door to her soul.
