Linus Jackson

In 1864, twenty-one-year-old Linus Jackson sought revenge on Manfred Axsom when Axsom went too far in his odd lust for violence against Linus. After inflicting mortal payback to Axsom, Linus took refuge in the hills of Gypsum, Colorado.

Decades go by, somewhat peaceably, but forty years on an unexpected familial twist exposes Linus's troubled youth. Now a man of sixty-one, he must face a court summons, an angry public, a suspicious jury, and he can only hope for the continued love of his family, now privy to his ugly past.
