Finding Freedom

For over two thousand years Humans have been slaves to the Kaylsh. They have lost their freedom, their language, and even their names, using instead the serial numbers tattooed on their arms for identification.

Sixteen-year-old M19, a Low Slave, is resigned to his life. It is all he knows. It is the only life a Human can have.

Then, on the night of Kurishin, he hears a story about the true history of Humans and how the Kaylsh stole the Earth from them. M19 wants it back.

He decides to find a way to leave the city of his birth and search for the free humans that are rumored to be hiding in the dense forests where the Kaylsh fear to venture. When he finds them, he will lead them in an attack against the Kaylsh and free all the Human slaves.

But first he has to escape slavery himself, a difficult task that has never been accomplished before. If he succeeds, he must find a way to survive while he searches the forest for a people that he can't be sure even exists.
