The Verge.....
The Brink...
We cling to the side, desperate not to fall.
We are on the verge of a breakdown....
Or a breakthrough....

We are on the brink of madness, walking the tightrope that is our only sanity.

There,
in the mist before us,
is the girl with white eyes,
the snake with frog's breath,
the magical curse we can only taste but cannot see.

And we take in that breath of air that perhaps may be the last our bones ever feel.
