E. K. Jarvis was a house name used by Ziff-Davis Publishing Company for its pulp magazine line including Amazing Stories and Fantastic Adventures. A house name is a pen name which the publishing company used to hide the identities of numerous writers. Known to have appeared under this house name were Robert Bloch, Harlan Ellison, Paul W. Fairman, Robert Silverberg, Henry Slesar, and Robert Moore Williams. The author(s) of the two stories appearing in this book are unknown.
