Long ago, a boy named Kean and earth's creatures lived in a world of perpetual darkness. This was due to a thick blanket of clouds that covered the entire world. Above the canopy, in the sun, lived a family of Sprites who had never even seen night.

When Kean's kite pokes a hole into the world of light, it sets into motion the creatures plan to bring the light into their land. A rhyming adventure that forges the beginnings of daytime, nighttime and how the stars came to be.
