Quincannon’s life extends no further than the Oregon City sand and gravel works where he sells concrete. He finds himself somehow engaged to his employer’s daughter, a girl he barely knows. Her father continues to leach his financial holdings away from him.

Quincannon is too afraid to follow his life’s passions. His way will always be the easiest road.

During a three week vacation back to his native Ireland, the guy walks into a bar and it changes his life. He meets his best friend, a girl named Katie, in a place called The Fifty-one Main Street Pub. The occasion calls for an adventure or two.
