Edos Are One: A Poetical Narrative of Edo People's Common Identity

In the traditional setting of Africa, people of the same ethnic group regard themselves as brethren of the same family. This concept is understood and exemplified in the way Africans live together and share common cultural values. Deeper than that, most African ethnic groups have lineage greetings by which the people of such ethnic groups are known. Traveling outside Africa, when people of the same lineage greeting discover themselves, it's an automatic reunion! This poetical expression, EDOKPAMAKHIN was written in an attempt to help Edo people in the Diaspora recognize their common identity.
