In the not so distant future, humans are divided into two very distinct groups: the Beloveds and the Masses. The Beloveds are an elite, genetically perfect society of beautiful people living in palaces; the Masses are the low class of disease ridden, uneducated proletariat. The Masses worship the Beloved. And so they should. The Beloved are perfect in every way.
