A silver cat, spectacular secrets and a splash of magic greet any child who spends a night on the seventh floor of Piedmont Hospital. Plucked out of a box by Dr. Clement when he was only a kitten, Desmond has spent nearly all his life roaming the hospital hallways and visiting patients during their stay.
