The Weathering of Sea Glass unfolds as two teen lovers struggle to overcome the consequences of one fateful night. Instead of heading to college at the end of the summer of 1969, one mistake condemns Denny to 40 years in prison, while Jackie discovers she's pregnant, condemning her to life as a single mom in Agape, Maine--the tiny tourist trap from which they were on the verge of escaping.

While Denny seeks redemption in prison, Jackie is forced to use the resources and people around her to raise a child, whose paternity she keeps secret.
