a Hawaiian Legend: of Love and Betrayal

An ancient Hawaiian legend collected by the author, illustrated, written and published for the first time. The story explains an arid Hawaiian valley and its revival by a Hawaiian goddess out of love for the young chief. The chief then learns the consequences of betrayal when the goddess discovers him in the arms of another.
