Kevin Garramone was born in February 1978 in Long Island, New York, USA. He has suffered from symptoms of Tourette Syndrome, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder for nearly his entire life. For years, he has used writing as a method of coping with these disorders. He also uses writing to relieve other tensions as well. In this book, he has written poems that have themes surrounding beauty, such as love; friendship; nature and birds. Other poems, however, have brutal themes, such as war; child abuse; retribution; and Death Metal lyrics. There are many poems that have themes that fall into the middle as well such as politics; philosophy; religion and propaganda. This book radiates from very personal places in the author's dark psyche. The poems in this book are written with diversity in their feelings; topics; themes; structures; lengths; and timings. This book pours out from a powerful place of both horror and happiness. The words within these pages are unreserved; unrestrained; unapologetic; and, at times, they are quite raw.
