IN THE TALL PINES

Harken back with me to the year 1765 in the primeval forest of the Colony of New Hampshire for this tale of a battle between the Abenaki tribe and the Colonial Militia as early American legends Chief Grey Lock and Captain Phineas Stevens fight for control of the Connecticut River Valley. Nathaniel Jarvis and his young settler family become caught in the crossfire as muskets meet long bows on one of America's earliest frontiers.
