Santa Cruz Sargasso, Berkeley Fog: Scattered Poems of the 70s and 80s

The poems contained herein are the result of countless halcyonic days and nights spent in the rich counter-cultural milieu of Berkeley (CA) and Santa Cruz (CA), during the 1970s and 80s. Neither 'Beat' nor 'Hip' in their character, they nonetheless remain intensely reflective of those West Coast cultural arenas of creativity in a time that was full of literary invention and exploration. None of them have ever been circulated prior to this time in any manner or form.

Influences of Jack Kerouac, Gary Snyder and Richard Brautigan converge, set against the lush landscape of the mid-California Coastal region and reflective of many of the social & cultural currents then extant.
