Maddies Good Hair: A Journey Through American Hairstory

Maddie is a young girl who struggles with the fact that people seem to have a problem with either the texture of her hair or the color of her skin. Guided by her mother, she goes on a search of her family history in America. Only to find her ancestors, who were black Indians that settled in America thousands of years ago from Africa, were erased from the history books to preserve the white system that set out to covet all of the wealth, power and resources, by enslaving people of color throughout the world.
