The autobiography of Matilda (Tillie) Lee, growing up in the Amish church and community. Because of the Depression, Tillie's parents had to sell the farm soon after Tillie started school. When Tillie was 15-years- old, her mother died. These two events brought many changes and adjustments in Tillie's life. Through these experiences Tillie found trust and comfort in God, reaching out to what He has next in life for her.
