Mom I Don't Like My Hair, is one Mothers testimony to her only daughter about how she grew up fighting for approval in a harsh society. When young Nylah went to school with a beautiful natural bush, she was ridiculed and laughed at by her peers, causing her to have low self esteem, and wishing that she was born in another culture. Nylah's mother told her a harrowing story of how she was once in the same situation as a child and how she had overcome it, vowing to never feel bad about her self.
