40 Years of Hope and Charity: Serving the Poor with Respect & Dignity: The Story of the Ministry of Caring 1977-2017

The Ministry of Caring, a respected and extensive organization with myriad volunteers helping provide comprehensive and critical services to the poor, was born, quite simply, in the heart of a little kid in the Bronx.

The homeless, the working poor, the foreclosed or evicted and those in the heartbreak crisis of job loss — along with their children — are among thousands in the Wilmington, Del., area whose difficult lives become more bearable by the emergency shelter, food, child care, medical and dental care, job training and other services his ministry has provided over the span of 40 years.

This book chronicles those 40 years and the work of thousands of volunteers led by Brother Ronald Giannone, along with the many sponsors who helped to bring many dreams to life to aid those in need.
