Celts and Christians

A collection of eight essays, formerly lectures of the Centre for the study of Christianity and Culture presented in Oxford in 1999. The contributors explore the meaning and usefulness of the term 'Celtic' and provide fresh insights into the notion of Celtic Christianity through the texts of saints, scholars, poets and religious thinkers who shaped Early Christianity in Britain and Ireland.
