Britain's Historic Railway Buildings is a magisterial reference work on the historic structures on Britain's railways in England, Scotland, and Wales. First published in 2003, this edition is fully up to date. In the last few decades the value of Britain's railway heritage has become increasingly important, and today thousands of structures are listed or scheduled. This book includes over 2,300 of these structures, each with a detailed description supported by photographs, maps, a list of important buildings lost, a glossary of terms, and a bibliography and index.
