Fra Filippo Lippi

It contains an absorbing and penetrating examination of Lippi's life and work, as well as placing him in the wide-scale context of Renaissance art. The book includes outstanding color illustrations of all Lippi's major works, as well as a full bibliography with notes, and a checklist of his masterpieces. Originally published in 1993 as a catalogue raisonné, this abridged edition has been reissued as an introductory volume for a wider audience.
