Modern House 2 is a survey of the world's most interesting and innovative houses of the 1900s. Following the format of Phaidon's hugely popular Modern House, this follow-up book is organized into thematic chapters covering contemporary issues such as ecological concerns, building in isolated areas, or building in dense cities. Modern House 2 examines approximately 30 houses from all around the world: North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Japan, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.
