Occupational Therapy: An Emerging Profession in Health Care

This independent report, commisioned by the College of Occupational Therapists examines all of the questions facing the profession, in the context of the revolutionary changes that are taking place in the demographic and health profiles of the population. Its chief recommendation is that the profession should prepare itself for a shift away from hospital-based activity towards the assumption of a major role in community care.
