Cavan: Essays on the History of an Irish County

Most of the nine essays began as lectures to the Cumann Seanchais Bhreifne, a historical society devoted to the county, during the winter of 1993-94. The contributors, professional historians and geographers, have updated their studies from the 1995 first edition to reflect both new information and new thinking about existing evidence.
