Mr Bodger's Jumping Hat

Inspired by a library book, Mr. Bodger decides he wants to become a famous magician. With the help of Ratty, his rodent room-mate, and Mrs. Garbo, his keyhole-peeping neighbour, he overcomes every obstacle set before him by Dr. Slobb, the loud-mouthed chief magician, until he achieves his aim.
