Shep and the Wounded Soldier

Chauncey is an ordinary dog with an extraordinary imagination. This Shetland Sheepdog enjoys sitting on Mumzie's porch in a quiet village, where his daydreams take him far beyond the confines of his yard. Chauncey imagines himself being whisked away on amazing adventures as "Shep". In this tale, the imaginations of Chauncey and Beau, the boy next door, intertwine. Fearing for Beau's life, Shep leaps from the porch to rescue this soldier in the Continental Army from an encounter with the Redcoats. From muskets, to smoking cannons and heroic feats, Chauncey's imagination takes fire in Shep and the Wounded Soldier.
