It Is What It Is

This book follows my journey through breast cancer from start to finish, through the highs and the lows. I've tried to capture the candid, random thoughts of both myself and the people around me while going through chemo and radiation. After starting an email chain my family and friends were informed, enlightened, amused and most importantly not afraid for me. I can't say I enjoyed the experience, but I am totally enjoying the outcome! If this book helps just one person face "the monster" with courage, humor and dignity it will be well worth the work.
