Moonlit Night

Lizbeth Whalin's boys were finally home from the Great War and her heart was filled with joy. After a few weeks at home, Ira, the son that she felt most loved the ranch, told his mother he was going away. Lizbeth bid him a tearful farewell and watched as he rode his horse Raz out of sight. Ira rode for a month before arriving in the small cattle town of Payson, in the mountains of Arizona. He hoped to find peace there; rid his dreams of the atrocities of war. He wanted his life back.
