Poet John T. Cullen is the acclaimed author of more than twenty books of fiction and nonfiction. He continues his legacy as a 1990s Internet publishing pioneer while researching and writing new books. A published poet by age 19, he wrote his entire corpus of poetic work between ages 13 and 28 (a span of fifteen years) as a teenager and college student in Connecticut, and later as a soldier stationed in West Germany during the Cold War. Like many lyrical (cymbalist) poets--including, for example Arthur Rimbaud (who spent his childhood not far from Cullen's Luxembourg domicile)--John T. Cullen ceased writing poetry well before age 30, and turned to other occupations. His poetic muse migrated into his imaginative and atmospheric novels. His translations include Catullus and Martial from Latin, and Rilke from German into English. He is currently translating *Goethe's Faust~Der Tragödie Erster Teil* into English, while writing original novels. He is a novelist and publisher, living in San Diego, California with his wife, son, and cat. This selection (1965-1977) will be his only published collection of poetry. He attended a Classics oriented high school, and holds degrees in Literature, Computer Information Systems, and Business. Much of his nonfiction writing is in History, especially a first-ever complete virtual tour, *A Walk in Ancient Rome* (nonfiction/ancient history- first authorized edition 2014 from Clocktower Books; website walkinancienrome will go live soon).
