Heart of the Sea

Danys is an unusual hero, a prince who is more merchant than warrior who is betrayed by the woman he loves, cheated of his throne by a half-brother, and shipwrecked on a small archipelago. By ingenuity and luck, he finds a way to save the world from tyranny--though much that he lost remains lost. It is a story of "little" magic; there are marvels, but mostly they are the wonders of human invention, loyalty, and courage.
