The Junkman

In World War Two, Air Force Captain Brick Masconi is shot down during the Italian Campaign. He manages to parachute into German-held territory, where he gets rescued by an Italian Contessa. While planning his escape, he falls in love with the Contessa. But can he make it home to salvage the battlefield scrap and return to his beloved after the war?
