Rex Conway's Steam Album

This is the first glimpse of a remarkable archive of railway photographs that has remained unpublished for over thirty years. Rex Conway's first three books were published in the mid-1970s, and since then his archive has been gathering dust. Through this selection of 200 photographs we find out how Rex became interested in railways, and accompany him on the numerous expeditions he undertook around the UK during the golden years of steam. This first selection can only scratch the surface - and will leave any railway enthusiast wanting more.
