As a boy, Robert created vast worlds in his imagination. In later years he retains the mystical vision of the poet. Bored and disappointed by a humdrum existence, he travels to assist Philip Skale in his enigmatic ‘experiments in sound’. Caught up in a mystical adventure he feels in touch with the greater elemental scheme of the universe.
