Valerius Herberger (1562-1627) wrote commentaries in a meditative style that focused on Christ. He expressed great devotional warmth as he explored the Scriptures, making his commentaries unique. As an early Lutheran theologian, Herberger also has historical significance. This will be the first time Herberger's work will be available in English.
